After an extremely busy past month, I really want to jot down what I found so fantastic in Peru and gather some of my nicest experiences in the blog.
Volunteering in a different continent, in a country whose culture is very far from yours is an experience for life. In order to take the most of it, you need to prepare yourself well for the challenge.
I decided to collect my most remarkable moments that I have had so far in Peru, and just jot it down with some pics. So, I’ll do that from time to time, without giving to much background.
I was thrilled to travel to Cajamarca. Not just because I’ve read about it so much in my lovely book, 1491, but also because it produces the best diary products (ice cream, cheese, yoghurt etc.) in the North.
Volunteering in Peru with Otra Cosa Network entails a lot of opportunities to discover the landscape and try fun sports. With a bunch of brave volunteers we have recently decided to try sandboarding and enjoy the surroundings of Huanchaco.
My slogan sounds like this: “Everyday a new Peruvian dish.” And I’ve almost been able to do that so far.
